News from the gym On this page we will regularly post any news regarding our Gymnasium, our projects or any other news we think might be of interest for you. 05/11/2009 Many congratulations to Norma Little, our first Lady member to achieve, at the beautiful age of 66, to row 1,000,000 meters on our Concept 2 rower!! Well done Norma, from all of us at the gym and good luck with the 2nd million! We´re very proud of you! All our rowers were featured in the Round Town News newspaper. Read here . And they were also featured in the Concept2 Magazine Nº66, which you can see here (in Spanish) 04/11/2009 A group of people from Heartbeat Gym have started yoga classes on a 2-weekly basis. It´s a lovely totally non-competitive atmosphere and open to beginners as well as to experienced people. If you´re interested, call the gym for more info. 01/10/2009 Today, 66 year old campion gym member, Bob Soutar, has achieved to row 2.000.000 metres on the Concept 2 rower in our gym! Again, many congratulations, Bob! You´re a star! 26/09/2009 Today, our 69 year old gym member, George Thomas, has reached his first Million on out Concept2 Rower! Congratulations, George! As you know, we are very proud of you! Here´s the link to George´s video . 13/05/2009 Today Rick Hodgkinson reached his second million metres on our Concept2 Rowing Machine! Well done Rick! We are very proud of you! We encourage everybody to try it. Little by little anyone can achieve it. 14/04/2009 Our opening times change! From today, we are open from 08.00 am till 10.00 pm. 16/11/2008 Our star member Bob Soutar has participated in the X Regata Popular de Remo Indoor de Donostia (X Popular Donostia Indoor Rowing Contest in San Sebastian) and has won nothing less than TWO medals: 500m and 2000m!! We are very proud of you! 09/11/2007 Today Bob Soutar (65) has reached one million metres on our Concept2 Rowing Machine and earned his Concept" Diploma! We admire Bob greatly. Well done Bob!
